Broken to be bread for multitudes

Unless the kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains alone but in dying, it bears much fruit.
The loaves had to be broken in the hands of Jesus before they could feed the multitudes.
The body of Christ was broken, so that life might flow to all mankind.
Joseph was broken in the hidden places, betrayed, imprisoned, forgotten before he rose to feed nations in famine.
Ruth walked a path of loss before she stepped into the field of redemption becoming heir to a legacy that would nourish generations.
Jonah was broken in the belly of the fish,
Three days in darkness, for the salvation of the city,Nineveh.
The grapes must be crushed
Before the wine can flow.
There is no true life without the breaking of the flesh.
To become bread for the hungry, one must pass through the crushing, the dying, the yielding.
Only through death can the life of Christ multiply through us.
So if you long to feed the multitudes, do not fear the breaking. Embrace the sacred process that births abundance.
